Lucille L. Douroux

Welcome to my page! My name is Lucille Douroux, and I am thrilled to have this opportunity to share a little bit about myself and my vision for our beautiful city of Hurricane, Utah. If elected as a member of the City Council, my goal is to promote thoughtful growth while preserving our natural beauty and enhancing our infrastructure to support conscientious development.

First and foremost, I am a proud grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren. They are the light of my life and serve as a constant reminder of the importance of building a sustainable and thriving community for future generations.

Having lived in Hurricane for the past 14 years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique charm and natural wonders that surround our city. The breathtaking landscapes, the majestic red rocks, crystal blue lakes, many golf courses, and the tranquil beauty of our outdoor spaces are what make Hurricane truly special. I believe that preserving our natural heritage is not only a responsibility but also an opportunity to create a lasting legacy for our community.

Balancing growth with the preservation of our natural beauty is a delicate task that requires careful planning and consideration. As your City Council member, I will be committed to ensuring that any developments or expansions in our city align with a comprehensive vision of sustainability and responsible growth. By working closely with residents, community organizations, and local businesses, we can forge a path that respects our environment, fosters economic prosperity, boosts city infrastructure, while minimizing the impact on our natural surroundings.

Our roads, utilities, and public services play a crucial role in maintaining a high quality of life for our residents. I am dedicated to championing initiatives that boost our city's infrastructure, ensuring that it can support our evolving needs.

In conclusion, I am passionate about Hurricane, its people, and its future. With your support, we can make Hurricane an even more exceptional place to live, work, and raise our children and grandchildren.
